It’s probably no surprise that as I’ve perused my favorite places to buy art over the past few weeks, I’ve saved more floral artwork than I could ever possibly display. Flowers truly are my favorite subject! I remember a few years back when those flower market prints first came on the scene. My old neighborhood farmers market actually had the prettiest artwork to announce their annual opening each May, so I love the concept of it representing your go-to spot in the city to source flowers and fresh foods. Plus, it’s fun to see the different iconic artists being emulated (usually Matisse, it seems) in modern trends. Fast forward many moons, and these market poster interpretations are becoming even more creative and unique. Here are the ones on my radar as of late!
