Many highly sensitive people and empaths are also introverts, who prefer one-on-one conversations to group communication as well as time alone to reflect and recharge. It makes sense that there are many books written by and for introverts, since a characteristic of introversion is self-reflection and exploration. We spend a lot of time in our own heads, and reading about our personalities can help us make sense of their many dimensions. Enneagram Empowerment: Discover Your Personality Type and Unlock Your Potential by our friend Laura Miltenberger is another Enneagram-centered book designed to get you exploring the many complexities of your personality type.
Me Time: The Self-Care Guide That Transform You From Surviving To Thriving by Jessica Sanders seemed like a fit for this list of books for introverts because “me time” is so important to us. It helps us rest and recharge and show up better for those around us. This book has tangible self care activities for everyone, no matter how little time you have.
With all the chatter that goes on in an introvert’s mind, a guide to releasing toxic thoughts and negative self talk like Detox Your Thoughts by Andrea Bonior will come in handy.
