Should I splurge on a new throw blanket for fall? That is the question. (Another question: did you know that the original term for a throw blanket was “throw around blanket”? Do you say it that way? This is new to me.) One late night Jenn and I were working away on Slack, and I came across this adorable baby blanket from Crate and Barrel. Of course, I always click on what I think is a product for grownups, but is actually for kids. Happens when you adore pastels. Anyway, I wanted to find a pattern and colorway I loved just as much, in a bigger size. I typed, “Should we do a throw blanket roundup?” and before I knew it Jenn had already added her favorites. Below, find a mix of styles we love—some soft like a baby blanket, and others more vibrant and statement-making.
Left to right, top to bottom: Brushed Gotland Wool Throw (comes in 29 colors, this is multi pastel, obvs my favorite), Orange/Pink/Grey Throw from Design Within Reach, Pastel Alpaca Throw Blanket (only one left) from Wallflower, Parks Project San Francisco Daisy Throw, Indian Block Print Quilt (sold out – shop similar here), Merino Waffle Hand Loomed Blanket, Colorblock Mohair, Pink + Terracotta Wool Blanket, Pastel Recycled Wool Throw Blanket, Pink Cat Blanket by Frankie Print Co, Pink/Tan Throw, Pollard Throw, Berry Fall Blanket, Colorful Organic Cotton Birds Blanket, Bayside Windowpane by Brooklinen, Bearaby Tencel Lavender Weighted Blanket
