When I first started learning about zero and low ABV spirits and nonalcoholic wine, I brushed that off right quick. It’s like decaf to me, why bother? But as drinking culture gets a little–well, out of control–its solutions grow stronger. One by one, beautifully branded alcohol alternatives popped up in my IG feed. And at the very least, I knew I wanted to share their expert packaging and brand design.
But then, something clicked (perhaps it was the magic seventh time one of those ads made an appearance), and I started to think that maybe these aren’t just beverages without the fun (ahem, buzz). Like many 31 year olds in America, I could definitely cut back on the wine. But more than that, I long to make healthier choices and it’s nice to know that the drinks below aren’t just booze sans bad stuff, but drinks with good stuff: all natural ingredients, less refined sugars, none of the mystery that comes along with those lack of alcohol labels.
Kin Euphorics is actually a supplement in beverage form, containing ingredients that will supposedly boost your mood while delighting your palate. I’ve yet to try them so I can’t speak to the benefits, (it’s easy to get caught up in words like “flow,” “bliss,” “grounding,”) but what can I say, I’m intrigued.

Beyond the beautiful branding, I’m starting to appreciate this little libation niche. I love the idea of sipping them when I want to celebrate but not necessarily become drowsy or drunk (mimosas at brunch are fabulous, but I have to take a nap immediately after). Or, pouring some nonalcoholic wine during the week while cutting down on my wine-and-late-night-work-sesh habit. And what about the promise of discovery? What if one of these bevs is my new favorite indulgence? On a final note, how great are these pretties as creative gifts for likeminded pals? Those who love beauty, a new experience, and are a little sober curious, too. Can’t hurt to try.
Haus offers three signature refreshing spirits with lower ABV and sugar content than conventional spirits.
Love sparkling rosé? Surely specializes in two nonalcoholic wines, a sparkling white and a sparkling rosé. The best part: it’s actually not a wine substitute, but real wine minus the alcohol.
