Like many others, 2020 was the year we experienced a very isolated Christmas. Kevin and I had brief visits with immediate family but didn’t have anyone over. It was a bummer following a season of my life where I had begun throwing intimate parties in our small apartment and loved decorating and having people over! To raise our spirits (well, mostly mine), I took the plunge and ordered what turned out to be the best pink Christmas tree I’ve ever seen! It totally boosted my mood that gloomy December, and I am not embarrassed to say I left it up through Valentine’s Day (I mean, it’s the perfect fit).
Fast forward to 2022, two years with my beloved tree, and I set up early as we prepared our shop for its first holiday season!
Obvi, it was the perfect way to display all of our pretty (and mostly pastel) holiday decor.
And as it turned out, a fab way to display our accessories too! BTW, here’s where to get the star. Should I get it in red for next year?!?!
I’m far from traditional and had always wanted a quirky tree, but many of the pink trees out there did feel a bit too tacky or cheap-looking. After searching tons of products, I finally came across this ombre pink Christmas tree. I thought,YEP, this is the one. ✨
Love this mid-mod car ornament.
So YES, it is ombre! It has a pretty subtle gradient beginning nearly white at the very top and slowly moving through blush into a more vibrant pink as you reach the bottom. I loved this because I wanted a more blush tree in the first place, and this turned out to be a really fun detail.
The gradient is pretty subtle when you have the lights on it, some people don’t even notice it. Plus, now it hits all my favorite colors AKA all shades of *pink*!
Many of the gifting supplies under the tree are available in the shop.
We even tried out some of our colorblock taper candles to see how they’d go with the *pinkmas* vibe. Big fan of using my regular decor for holidays rather than always buying more!
We sold out of these cats pretty quickly. Can’t wait to have them back in stock!
Loving a splash of red with my pink Christmas decorations this year too.
This tree is also one of the most affordable fun fake trees out there. It was over $100 when I purchased it, but looks like it’s quite a bit cheaper now! (Side note: One thing I don’t *love* about it is that the “trunk” is the brightest of the pinks, I wish it were lighter. But I usually fill in the gaps with my bigger ornaments and it’s fine.) Overall, I still think this is the best pink tree (that’s not $1,000 anyway), and I’m glad it’s something I can keep around for years!
Thanks to Charity for shooting our pink holiday scene!
