Do you have home updates on your list of projects in the new year? One of my goals in 2022 is to get a proper bookshelf to display all the books I’ve been reading. I know it’s simple and probably something everyone has by now, I’ve just never thought about it since I use an app for most of my reading. But I love the idea of collecting the most special books I’ve read (adding lots of notes and bookmarks throughout), and putting them on display. And because bookshelves can be an amazing way to add color and curate your dream home, dressing them up with statement bookends is the perfect start.
Pictured above from top to bottom, left to right: Vintage Parrot Bookends from Rosemary Home (sold out but I had to include because they’re forever on my wishlist), Ceramic Elsie Bookends, Hay Large Light Blue Knot, Malachite-Style and Brass Arch Bookends, Book end Doves by SOPHIA-Enjoy Thinking, Brass Book end by OYOY Living Design, Jonathan Adler Globo, Emerald Terrazzo Bookend by Emily Marlin, Vintage Set of 2 Carved Stone Cats, Italian Sphere Book ends, Cinema Glass Object in Green by Schönbuch, Dalmatian Duo Bookends in Coral, Tortuga Dumbo Book ends in Cactus, Bananas Bookends, Emerald Bubble Glass Vase Bookends, White Marble Stacked Bookends
Love how any of these would add a touch of glamour (even the quirky Dalmatians!) to an office or living room space. Pieces like this can also be used as sculptural objects to top your stacks whether it’s on the shelf or coffee table, too. Just add books!
How do you style your bookshelves at home? Honestly mine will probably just become another cat playground no matter how I decorate.
