Jenn and I are always having those “have you seen this, I love it…” “yes, me too!!!!” moments over slack when we see new trends, which is pretty much how we came up with our fun with trends series. No layers of meaning behind these posts, just fun trend reports on things that we’re suckers for, even though yeah, they’re kinda silly to most people. I guess that’s what design is all about? Anyway, the other day I put this concept called “board games gone chic” on the calendar, and around the same time Jenn was like, we should do a post on modern board games! Very exciting backstory, I know. Truly, there are so many fun iterations of classic board games on the market now, that would elevate any game room! How fun would it be to receive a gift this nostalgic…yet chic?
