Ringing in Spring with Pastel Colorblock Fashion and Decor

published on 4/16/21 by Angela Hamilton

Do your favorite colors change with the seasons? I’m pretty much in love with pastel hues year round (can you tell?) but usually toward the end of summer, when I’m getting excited about my other favorite season, fall, it’s like a switch: suddenly it’s all dark earthy hues and jewel tones for me. But it’s nice, because after a long long (LONG) pandemic winter, I’ve never been more ready to embrace spring and wear and decorate with all the color yet again. This season’s pastel colorblock trend in fashion and decor is one of my favorite ways to do it, let me show you why! And yeah, plenty of candles in this roundup too, because we’re in a candle revival and they’re just too cool to burn.

Yin yang candles

Yin and yang candles (similar here) from Bon Femmes might be my favorite use of pastel color block yet! Or, wait…

This Zimmerman pink pleated striped dress is the stuff of dreams, no?

two toned candles

As MAZA says, if spring were a set of candles…

This row of GORGEOUS Estelle Colored Glass wine glasses via Moon Penny Shop would make my kitchen cabinets verrrrrry happy!

Colorblock jumpsuit

Like I mentioned in our ode to jumpsuits, it’s just a matter of time before I get my hands on (and entire body in) the Issa Jumpsuit from The Kit.

Pastel rug by loom and field

Can definitely see myself rocking the Tuscan striped pants and top from Seek Collective.

Helle Mardahl

You know we’re obsessed with alllll of Helle Mardahl’s incredible artwork and homewares! 😍

Pastel matisse prints

Anyone else like to freshen up their wall art for spring? I’m swapping a few of my old prints for more colorful art, which is how I came across these pastel Matisse inspired art prints by printablezenco.

How are you channeling the pastel colorblock trend? Do your favorite colors change with the seasons, too?
