I’m a big fan of all things pink, sparkly, ruffly, and floral, so it’s probably no surprise that I have a pink Christmas tree I’ve been decorating for the 5th year in a row. In my living room, my rug is pink, my coffee table is pink, I have a display of my vintage pink glass collection. Oh, and I painted a pink accent wall. But believe it or not I do like other colors, actually lots of them and mostly of the pastel variety. So when it comes time to dress up my pink tree, pastel ornaments are the obvious choice. Those, a touch of glitter, and my big red star (which I also own in gold, but have been changing it up the last couple years) make up most of my holiday treasures. Find our favorites below along with a peek of my tree the last couple seasons!
favorite pastel christmas ornaments

Top to bottom, left to right:
Hand-woven pastel rainbow | Poptart ornament | Queen kitten | Pink and blue frosted trees | Pastel Santa | Glass pink flower | Pink + green paper bell | French patisserie (only one left, this design is discontinued) | Vintage car ornament | Embroidered seashell | Layer cake | Set of macarons | Bulbs: Pink with silver, rainbow glitter swirls, opal floral ball | Nordic candy cane christmas ornaments 5 Pack | Paper mache ornament set
All that to say, when it comes to pastel ornaments, I know how to pick em—for myself and for the shop (the woven rainbow is up for grabs in our boutique!). Here’s my tree a few years ago:

This was before I painted my wall pink, and I used a gold star (which I’ll keep forever because I know I’ll want to go back to it!) See more photos here.
Last year I went for a little more contrast in the decor, since there is now so much pink in this room:
I added a shiny red star garland, lots of colorful bows, red and green paper chains, and the aforementioned red star topper. It’s hard to tell in the dim lighting, but most of my ornaments are candy-colored like the favorites we shared above. I have a lot of sea creatures, birds, vintage inspired bulbs, and ornaments I’ve crafted over the years.
My tree is going up later this week—planning to add a few moodier colors this year, if you can believe it! I’ll have to report back. Happy decorating!
