What We’re Drinking During Sober October

published on 10/6/21 by Angela Hamilton

What began as a collection of the most beautifully-branded no/low ABV spirits trending today inspired our team to give Sober October a go… in style. After all, there are plenty of tasty drinks—and even wine—to distract us from the usual comforts and Insta-worthy cocktails. Below, find what our studio’s founders and friends secured in preparation of a more interesting month (mostly) sans booze:

What We're Drinking for Sober October

Jenn loves a glass of wine before bedtime but knows that it doesn’t always give her the best sleep. She ordered Kin Euphorics, trending now for its brain boosting ingredients that help reduce stress and anxiety (without the hangover).

What We're Drinking for Sober October

I’ll be sipping Surely Wines, available in white and rose, bubbly and still (which you can get in a sample pack). I’ve tried a couple of them so far and was super surprised by both the taste (it’s actual wine, not a wine substitute) and the idea of it as a replacement for my mid-week happy hour cravings. They have cans too!

Low ABV Spirits for Sober October - Haus

Our friend Charity, a creative and new mama who hasn’t indulged in almost a year, was gifted by a friend the Haus sampler last month. For her, this October takes on a new meaning: Sipping, or crafting a cocktail, with these low ABV spirits by Haus means Charity has a few hours without breast feeding that she can reclaim for herself, while also actually having the energy to prioritize it over a much needed nap.

Do you participate in Sober October? What kinds of beverages do you like to try when opting for something nonalcholic? Let us know!
