Do you believe in the adage that a wall mirror makes a space look bigger and more inviting? Whether or not you’re using a mirror to “create” space, decorate, or just because, you need to look in the mirror sometimes, this is a fun opportunity for a pop of color! For years it seemed like all wall mirrors were bulky and formal, which just doesn’t make sense for a bright and airy space. But nowadays there are more whimsical colors, shapes, and materials. Here are my top picks for using your mirror as a way to add personality to your walls!
Top to bottom, left to right: Cloakroom Bobbin Mirror, Wavy Mirror, Handmade Yarn Boho Mirror, Lorinda Solid Wood Oval Wall Mirror, Large Mid 20th Century Oval Reticulated Purple Mirror, Fleur Yellow Carinival Mirror, Fleur Home x Chairish Carnival Mystic Rectangle Mirror in Pink Ground (Lots More Colors!), Horchow Rosemeade Pink Mirror, Allurine Wood Wavy Wall Mirror, Schoolhouse x Clare V.® Fernand Circle Mirror, Fleur Home x Chairish Audobon Peony Circle Mirror in Malachite
Wall mirrors, especially bigger ones (depending on the materials) can be quite the investment piece. But it’s not something you’ll likely swap out super often. If you find the right one, you’ll probably have it for several years – though if you feel the need to refresh your space from time to time, you can always move it to different rooms or nooks within your house. I love the idea of a quirky, fun mirror as a focal point!
While searching for the perfect mirror, I spent a lot of time on Chairish. Do you shop there for vintage and collectible decor? The mirrors in the Fleur Home collection all come in so many bright colors, so if pastel isn’t your thing I’m sure you’ll fall in love with another. Click the links above to shop our sources!
