Nursery Rugs in Pastel Rainbow Hues - Where To Buy

When I was planning nursery decor for my son (who is now somehow almost three!), I knew I didn’t want to go with a traditional color palette. No shade to those who love neutrals or pinks and blues, but I love any opportunity to play with different color palettes! I also didn’t want anything too gender-stereotypical for the nursery. The result was what I called “pastel rainbow” – not a traditional rainbow palette, but a mix of light green, butter yellow, some notes of peach and coral, and lavender. So basically, our color palette here at Wallflower. 🙂

We painted an accent wall this shade of green called Leaf Bud, hung up a beautiful handmade rainbow cloud-shaped weaving, and put a couple big nursery animal art prints (that I somehow got lucky thrifting) over the changing table. I spent a really long time looking for the perfect rug and in the end, I decided not to splurge. Did you know planning for a baby is expensive? Ha. I chose an old World Market rug I already had with hints of peach and lavender. But I still think about all of those dreamy nursery rugs I found during my search, and I’m excited to share them with you!
