It must’ve been while we were rounding up the most creative light fixtures for an early #funwithtrends post, or perhaps it was this candy-colored lighting, but somewhere along the way we came across handmade lampshades crafted from colorful yarn. Cue hours scrolling Etsy, time that was most definitely *not* wasted. These yarn wrapped lampshades by five different fiber artists are perfect for adding a splash of color and a nod to Scandi style in your living room or bedroom spaces!
You’ll find Dutch Wool Design many times throughout this post. They craft gorgeous handmade lampshades with yarn. This is their Lampion woven lampshade.
Dutch Wool Design also designs different shapes and styles! This particular colorway is sold out, but here’s a similar pick, and I’ll share a couple more favorites below:

Love these little tapered colorful handmade drum lampshades from them too.

Maison Eole actually specializes in really beautiful floral inspired ceiling light fixtures, but offers a few yarn wrapped designs too, like this.
Such a perfect pink ombre gradient in Lux Strings’ Japanese style lamp.
Lastly, we love this take on both the string lampshade and wave trends, from Skye Lightly in Australia. Skye also offers a Barbie-inspired shade, as well as a fun take on pink + red:
