For someone who wears the same two pairs of worn out sneakers approximately 95% of the time, I am obsessed with shoes. Shoe shopping is just fun. It doesn’t come with the emotional baggage that shopping for denim or trying to find a dress does, which makes it a lot easier to just opt for what you’re drawn to. In my cast, that’s lots of spring colors (I love my pastel sneakers, more on that later), and forever trying to find the right balance of comfortable-to-cute shoes. Today we shall focus on spring, because a few sunny days and blossoming trees are bringing us LIFE, so you’ll find lots of colorful flats, heels, and sandals for women within.

The Milla Mule Sandal is an open-toed floral mule with a sculpted, round wood heel, handcrafted in Peru from Huma Blanco by Adriana Crocco. Each floral print differs slightly, and only 14 of this design have been made this season!
FRĒDA Salvador’s Sera Fisherman sandals are often cited as a super stylish spring shoe that’s actually comfortable. You may have seen the pressed flower design floating around with its jelly-look and funky pops of color. So gorge, but I assume as far as comfort goes, the suede ones are probably your best bet. Also come in a raffia design and a few limited edition styles.
Freda Salvador also makes these dreamy metallic woven ballet flats with a square toe. They come in matte suedes and neutrals too, but how could you not opt for Mermaid Mint and Lilac Metallic???
Cora & Bear is a new (to me) brand that makes playful & functional shoes, all handcrafted by a small family-owned footwear maker based in the Philippines. Just scroll on through for a peek at their fun colors and styles.
Designed and made in Spain, Augusta shoes are sleek and chic, as you’d hope for from a brand based in Madrid. They offer loafers, sandals, heels, and boots, but I love their flats the most. Just fun and happy colors for warm and sunny days!
