12 of the Prettiest Natural Wines For Summer

published on 6/4/21 by Angela Hamilton

The way I see it, there’s no harm in choosing a wine based on the label. I’ll try any well-branded wine once, and if I don’t like it? Big deal, I have a cute vase that I don’t need to buy again. Especially when it comes to natural wines. Choosing a new, eye-catching label inspires me to try new things and actually learn the story behind it. Not to mention it’s a pretty affordable way to up the chic factor of a backyard gathering! No fancy bar? No problem, an ice bucket with pretty wines will do the trick!

12 Natural Wines For Summer With The Prettiest Labels

Las Jaras Wines 2020 Rosé, Jolie-Laide Rodnick Farm Melon de Bourgogne 2020, BuddyBuddy Pinot Gris + Apple, 2020 Bonofiglio Vineyard “Unsung Hero”, Vinca Minor Mendocino Red, Folk Machine Gamay Noir Rose 2020, 2020 Superbloom, 2020 Vinca Minor Carignan Rose, Old Westminster Winery Take It Easy, Martha Stoumen Out To The Meadow 2020, Landmass Jolene Wine, Jolie-Laide 2020 Gamay Rose

While I don’t consider myself a wine expert, natural wines are definitely something I look for. I’ve gotten into learning about the differences between natural, organic, and biodynamic, ever since that one article about America’s wines containing surprising levels of arsenic came out back in 2015. While it didn’t stop me from sipping summer rose, I did begin to question where my wine was coming from, how it was made, and what it contained. Boy is there a whole world to discover there! But I’m happy to report that there are now many resources on natural wines out there, and lots of local shops are committed to carrying only the highest quality kinds.

Pair that with a pretty wine label and you have the perfect summer sip. What’s your favorite wine? And your favorite wine label art? I love all the abstract paint washes, if you can’t tell.
